Organising a group of incredibly fussy bridge players of a certain age is always difficult but somehow or another we manage to meet
their ever growing list of needs. This year was no exception so when in my email I found the details of Schloss Wasserburg you can’t
imagine my delight to find such a beautiful venue in amazingly beautiful surroundings. We ended up as a group of 20 which included 5
members of my teaching & catering team. As always single rooms were requested by too many and being of the age of the Schloss there were
not enough en suites however the bathrooms that each serviced 2 bedrooms were really spacious and very adequate. The bedrooms were
splendid each with its own individual charm. Once the bedrooms were sorted the group settled and our five day stay went like clockwork.
The magnificent dining and lounge areas both inside and out were perfect. The grounds were truly beautiful for walking, playing tennis,
swimming and barbecuing. I hope that we can return to the Schloss in the not too distant future.

It's so funny you should write, because I have it on my list to write you and ask where you want me to put my review. The Schloss
isn't listed on Trip Advisor or Airbnb or VRBO (that I can see). Of course, I will be SO happy to answer anybody who asks. We had SUCH
an amazing time at the Schloss! As we're
planning our family reunion in 2020, we're having a hard time finding anything (in Italy? in Portugal? in Denmark?) that even comes
close to what you all gave us at the Schloss Wasserburg!

Our family of 19 enjoyed a wonderful week at Schloss Wasserburg in August 2019! Three generations of Lances and Wilsons (ages 3 - 63)
biked around, caught lots of fish varieties in the moat, swam in the huge pool, jumped on the trampoline, played tennis on the clay
court, admired the Schloss' exquisite décor, enjoyed cocktails in several rooms and
the balcony, reflected in the meditation garden, played ping pong and foosball in the game room, and ventured out to Austria's lake
country and wine country, Salzburg, Vienna, Melk and cruised the Danube. Our "formal night" with tuxedos, gowns and several lederhosen
outfits was especially lovely. One night, the 4 grandparents dined in your formal dining room while the rest ate out at a nearby
restaurant. All
of our expectations were exceeded. Our family had rented a fabulous castle in Ireland previously, so there was a VERY high bar for
Schloss Wasserburg to exceed . . . and it certainly did! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
